Gift the gift of fluency with Speak

Gift subscriptions are a way to give a Speak membership to family, friends, or anyone you want to help on their language learning journey. Gifts are available for individual accounts and last for one year.

Please note that at this time only gifting Premium Plus is available.

To purchase multiple gifts, simply repeat the check out process for each gift. Each gift will be sent individually to your recipients on the date you specify, at midnight in your time zone.

Yes! The recipient will need to wait until their current subscription expires. Then, they can redeem their gift by logging into their Speak account.

Yes, you can choose the “Send Date” of your gift as in the gift purchase flow. Gift subscriptions are emailed to the recipient at midnight in your time zone on the date you select to send the gift. If you choose to send the gift on the same day that you purchase it, the email will be sent immediately.

Gift subscriptions do not expire, and can be redeemed for a Speak subscription at any time.

If the recipient hasn’t received their gift on the day you specified, please ask them to check their “Promotions”, “Junk”, or “Spam” folder. If the gift email still cannot be found, please send your order confirmation number to [email protected] and our customer support team will help.

If you receive an error message when redeeming your gift through the Redeem button in your email and you are not currently on an active Speak subscription, we recommend you clearing your cache. If you continue to have issues with redeeming your Speak membership, please reach out to [email protected] with your email and redemption code and our customer support team will help.
